Fractional Resurfacing (Non-ablative)

Dr. Sheikh uses the Lux1540™ Fractional Laser handpiece to combat deep hyperpigmentation indications such as dark brown spots and severe melasma. The Lux1540™ delivers an array of up to 470 high-precision microbes into the dermis, damaging the epidermis but seeing the stratum corner in place.  A restorative, natural healing process is initiate, accelerating the formation of new healthy tissue. Patients can typically return to their daily activities with little to no redness or discomfort.

The Lux1540's fractional microbes penetrate deeper (over 1 mm) than other devices--the deeper the columns, the greater volume of new tissue.  Coagulated cellular debris is either transdermally eliminated or replaced as the skin is rejuvenated.

With up to 70 mJ per microbes, the Lux1540™ offers greater energy to treat acne scars and surgical scars.
